In this workshop facilitated by Beth, we will unpack different types of abuse, with an emphasis on ‘invisible abuse’: psychological and emotional abuse, and coercive control. We will also work to understand the impact of our family of origin and the relationships that have shaped us historically.
-
A deep dive into understanding the trauma that is caused by abusive relationships, and the long-term and complex impacts it can have on every aspect of our lives and our being. We will look at all of the symptoms of c/PTSD. Beth facilitates this group.
-
More space to look at the impacts of trauma on our mental health with Beth — anxiety, depression, intrusive and obsessive thoughts, compulsive behaviour, dissociated states, etc — whilst also empowering ourselves with this knowledge and the tools to help us cope.
-
It is very normal to live with feelings of deep shame after trauma and abuse — this can make us feel isolated and alone. This workshop by Beth will help us understand why this happens, and how to release shame and liberate ourselves.
-
The key to healing from trauma is self-compassion. Many people know to be kind to others but not to themselves. In this workshop, we will look at what self-compassion is, how to show acceptance and kindness to yourself, and why this is so crucial for healing. Run by Beth

Trauma and abuse can leave us feeling very disconnected from ourselves, especially if we are always care-taking others. This workshop will focus on creating internal safety, so we feel safe to start being ‘with’ ourselves and our feelings, and to learn to be loyal to our traumatised self. Beth leads this workshop.
-
Many of us do not have role models of healthy relationships, and might never have experienced them ourselves. In this workshop, we will understand what makes a relationship healthy, and what can hold us back from feeling like we deserve one. We will look at issues around trust, co-dependency, and safety in relationships. Beth leads this workshop.
-
In this workshop by Beth, we will think about how to process trauma and move on to a life where we live and thrive, rather than just survive. We will look at traumatic growth, and also what tools we can take forward to engage safely with the world to move from isolation to connectedness. We will look at creating boundaries, self-care, and our freedom to make choices.
